Hall of Fame Winning Environmental Design Project

Concept

The concept of this IDI project was to create a design board based off my favorite place in nature using environmentally-friendly materials. The inspiration behind the O'Neil Residence comes from the serene sites ad feelings of the sea breeze at Strands Beach of Dana Point, California. The combination of sustainable materials along with direct and indirect biophilic design elements promotes a sensible environmental design plan and a holistic sense of wellness in this sanctuary. Nature is seen and felt throughout the home.
